You may need extra load equalizer

For some earlier models, the electronic computer may detect the wattage loss after installing LED bulb, it then may launch warning message to drivers, such as bulb hyper flashing, flickering, radio interference, malfunction error code on dashboard. At this moment, you need to install extra load equalizer to help eliminate the malfunctions.

From customer feedback, below models must need load euqalizer:

  • 2005 Road King
  • 2012 Road Glide
  • 2005 V-Rod
Some old harley models If the front and rear turn signals you purchased appear flashing, blinking, flickering, warning or any malfunction error code on dashboard, Please re-purchase the resistor separately.

        Lights are nice and bright. But every time I hit the signals it sets of a check engine light.

        Needs a resistor

        Can someone recommend a plug and play resistor to make these plug and play lights flash. I could live with hyper flash but not no flash. I have a 99 roadking.....not special.

        Super easy to install, no deemed needed. I have a 2010 ultra classic Harley and had no problem. Not sure why people are saying it needs dremeling. You do have to pay attention to how to install it. There are 2 little pegs on each side, the longer one goes in the front and the shorter ones in the back. So pay attention when you take your other bulbs out for the little pegs.
        They are super bright. Love them!

        needs a resistor

        I like the blinkers and headlight, running lights. But there is false information that you don't need a resistor to eliminate hyper blink and the check engine light to come on. I installed them on a 2007 heritage softail classic.
